We hope our website, launched in November 2010, will connect, inform and entertain all graduates of the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) School of Nursing, Toronto, as well as other nurses and researchers interested in nursing history .
Our unique training prepared us to be among the very best nurses, not only in our chosen specialty of paediatrics and not only at the Hospital for Sick Children, but in the world beyond. Our Alumnae members have made invaluable contributions to the care of families everywhere. Our legacy continues.
Please join us to learn more about our school’s history – a story that unfolded within the walls of one of the world’s foremost paediatric hospitals and continues to play out through the lives and careers of proud graduates living and working around the world. Learn about the work of the Alumnae Association, an organization that has served the greater good of the hospital and its students and kept graduates connected since its inception. Find out how we continue to stay in touch.
Our shared history and our stories will inspire and delight you! We invite you to visit this site regularly and be in touch with us. Here’s to our future together!
We will add to this site regularly as we work our way through boxes of ‘history’. Do you have a story or reflection to share, a comment or suggestion to make, an upcoming event to tell us about? Please send details to firstname.lastname@example.org
