It is with heavy hearts we share Judy’s sudden passing on December 13, 2024, at the age of 75.
Judy was a loving wife to Doug for 51 years; beloved mother to Marc (Veronica Bila) and Stephanie (Jim Phibbs); proud Grandma to Andrew and Emily; kid sister to Diane Szollosy.
Judy lived a life helping and serving others; first as a nurse at the Hospital for Sick Children, then as a stay-at-home mother, taking faithful care of her family, and later as a devoted member of St. Paul’s Church.
Judy enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; sitting on the front porch, doing puzzles with her grandchildren, and a round of golf with friends. She was the heart of our family and we will miss her gentle spirit tremendously.
On Saturday, December 28, a visitation with family at 10am, followed by memorial service to celebrate Judy’s life at 11am will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 32 Idylewylde Street, Fort Erie. After the service, a time of fellowship has been arranged at Bridgewater Country Club, 700 Gilmore Road, Fort Erie.
